Early childhood key worker support

Helping families build the village around their child.

Practical, compassionate support for young children and families navigating development, disability, big emotions, routines, behaviour, transitions and the NDIS.

Support for the whole family, not just the child.

Your Village Child and Family Supports provides early childhood key worker support that recognises children grow best when the people around them feel informed, confident and supported.

“I’m here to help you build the village your family needs to thrive.”

Warm, practical and family-centred

Support is tailored to each child’s strengths, needs, family routines and everyday environments. The focus is on building confidence, capacity and realistic strategies that can be used between visits.

How Your Village can help

Services are designed to be flexible and responsive, supporting children across the places where life actually happens.

1

Parent coaching

Support to understand your child’s needs and build practical strategies for routines, emotional regulation, behaviour, communication, transitions and participation.

2

School and daycare support

Visits and collaboration with educators to support consistency, inclusion, regulation, participation and everyday strategies across learning environments.

3

NDIS documentation

Support plans, progress reports, session summaries, resource development, team communication and practical planning aligned with your child’s goals.

A connected key worker approach

A key worker helps coordinate support around your child and family, while building the capacity of the people who spend the most time with your child.

  • Strength-based and neuroaffirming practice
  • Coaching for parents, carers and educators
  • Practical strategies that fit home and education routines
  • Collaboration with therapists, support coordinators and other services

What support can look like

Every family is different, so support may include observation, coaching, modelling, planning, visual supports, routines, environmental adjustments, emotional regulation strategies, team meetings or written recommendations.

At home

Morning routines, bedtime, toileting, mealtimes, transitions, safety and family capacity.

In education settings

Participation, inclusion, sensory needs, transitions, peer interactions and educator confidence.

Simple steps to get started

The process is designed to feel clear, collaborative and supportive from the beginning.
